The People’s Pride is a community collective organized planned act of resistance and civil uprising to commemorate Transgender Visibility day. In the face of fascism we RISE UP and FIGHT BACK. This event is for all queers who feel thrown under the bus by puritanical and corporate interest. This event is for transsexuals, queers, kinksters, punks, drag queens, anarchists, elders, and everyone who wants to get weird with us! Although this event is an act of resistance we will also be focusing on community joy.

This is a “freak” oriented event, meant to disrupt common norms of hyper morality and fascist desires to suppress expression. We dream of a restored pride full of kinky queer trans joy, PRIDE IS RESISTANCE!
WHY?
We as alternative transgender queer people are tired of being pushed to the sidelines and thrown under the bus in the face of fascism and capitalism. The organizing community of The Peoples Pride are led by indigenous transgender change makers, and decolonized queer allies working together towards a liberated future for folks of all walks of life. We are fags, dykes, kinksters, furries, freaks, punks, ravers, activists, harm reductionists, and family. We are tired of corporatized and heavily censored pride celebrations, where we do not see our truths portrayed. We want to fight, dance, and thrive to our fullest out in the sun and light! And we want YOU to join us this Trans Visibility Day 2025
